Project: Review and redesign of shopping cart experience, global

Freecom decided to upgrade their flagship site’s 5 page shopping cart experience to improve their conversion rates. Based on the response to the changes Blink designed for the UK site the new design will also be rolled out to all their other language sites globally.

Freecom needed the new shopping cart to work with their exisiting site, be easy to understand and navigate, give the user more functionality to edit and understand charges on their order as well as look more appealing and reassure users of the security fo the site. Blink, in conjunction with Digitial River, reviewed the exisiting user experience and the pain points of their customers. Based on this we came up with a list of improvements we could make. Blink then managed the redesign process resulting in a new design which satisfied the points raised. The new cart is much easier to understand and use with helpful tool tips and higher contrast on text colour. The new cart layout is clearer where in the process you are, the security of the site, has a cleaner more modern look which complements the main site and is already having an impact on cart conversion rates.

Project: Landing page & flyer designs for new services promotions

Vivastreet France wanted to launch and promote a new ‘Services’ category for their website allowing their users to find local services and promote their own local services. The sub-branding needed to be vibrant and fun showcasing a range of services and using the parent brand colours and overall style. We created a range of materials including exhibition stands, flyers, emails and the main landing page.

Vivastreet operates in the UK, Europe and South America allowing users to buy and sell items and services.

Project: Range of online advertising design work for Nuance software

We have completed a range of web based design projects for Nuance’s Dragon Naturally Speaking software range across their European territories.

The projects included designing and coding a range of multi-lingual email marketing campaigns with accompanying landing pages.

We have also designed a range of banners in multiple languages advertising their PDF Convertor Pro software for use on a range of websites.

Dragon is the leading speach to text program for both Mac and PC users allowing people to speak to their computer to control a range of functions as well as use speach to enter text in programs such as MS Word. They also provide a range of other productivity based software aimed at home and business users.

C A Design Services offer a mixture of CAD plans for a range of clients as well as detailed 3D models and animations of layout plans. Blink has created their 3D specific site CADS3D.co.uk as well as a range of advertising flyers, large 3×3 exhibition stands, brochures and more for all parts of the business.

Up and coming fashion forward store Zugi approached us to help them build the company brand and visual identity from the ground up. We worked on the company logo, brand identity design and art direction of related materials, web design, store signage, POS materials and co-designed of flagship store layout and interior design.

Project: Branding and design of both print and online marketing materials

Project for a new organic Sicilian olive oil company. The branding needed to encompass the company’s ideals of the natural, healthy and tradtionally grown olives used in their premium extra virgin olive oil. The website and other materials all needed to have a family company feel yet also showcase the quality of their product. From the use of natural greens and custom illustrations to represent their products organic production to the lightly textured cream papers used on their print materials - all the designs worked together to create a brand which was both premium and approachable.

Project: Design of ebook covers and variety of banner ads

Secret Path needed a series of 12 ebook cover designs as well as a variety of banner adverts for their new venture in selling business and marketing books online. They also needed visuals created of the ebooks which they could use for marketing purposes.

Work included: Design of ebook covers, creation of mock 3D book, binder and folder product shots for the books, banner advert design.
