As a designer you can never have too many great resources to hand for tidbits of information, tools, tutorials and advise.
Here are a few of my favourite blogs and design sites for keeping your freelance design skills and knowledge fresh (In no particular order):

http://www.from-the-couch.com/ Video blog ‘From the couch’ from the guys at Obox offers advice and thoughts on the design industry – often very funny and provocative
http://www.graphicdesignblog.co.uk/ Tips and tricks, tutorials and resources for designers covering everything from illustration and branding to mobile campaigns and the latest trends all cutesy of the guys as Graphic Design Blog
http://imjustcreative.com/ I’m Just Creative is the blog by Graham Smith, logo and typographic extraordinaire with news, advice and resources as well as a distinct personality and flair
http://creativenerds.co.uk Creative Nerds is a regular blog with articles, freebies, tutorials, inspiration and news updated regularly and aimed at the freelance designer
http://www.gracesmith.co.uk/ Blog by Grace Smith with regular news and views update from one freelance designer to another
http://freelancefolder.com/ Freelance Folder is an online resource with absolutely loads of advice and tips from freelance designers which are helpful to seasoned pro’s and new starters alike
http://psd.tutsplus.com/ PSD Tuts Plus does exactly what it says on the tin (or URL in this case) tutorials added regularly as well as inspiration and ideas
