Project: Range of online advertising design work for Nuance software
Lenovo sell top of the range laptops and computers and they needed their ecommerce shop to work harder for them, working with Lenovo’s strategists Digital River, we took on the redesign of key page templates to maximise the impact of their highest traffic pages – the shop entry page and the special offers page.
We wanted to ensure they could show all their key messages without ending up with an overcrowded page that shouted at viewers or one that required a large amount of scrolling. Placing promotional site wide messages on a slowly rotating carousel at the top and using the left hand bar for secondary stationary messages specific to each page left us with a good sized space for products. We implemented a simple and intuitive tab system to navigate the categories and easily see key information without having to scroll through irrelevant products to reach their target. This simplification made the user experience a lot simpler and quicker helping people find their perfect laptop or tablet with ease.
