Project: Marketing materials for launch of E-series laptops
We are proud to say we were approached by Packard Bell to creatively lead the look and feel for their new advertising campaign for a range of two new E-series laptops. We got to not only create the overall design direction but also create all the English language assets for this multinational campaign. This was our first project with the Acer owned company and we loved every minute of it.
The campaign needed to be suitable for global use and localisation by the companies own design teams in each country, to this end we created a stylish design which allowed flexibility in the length and complexity of the text to help accommodate the various languages that would need to be applied. We also ensured all the elements could be subtly moved if need be by layering the assets on the supplied design files. We created versions for use in various scenarios with and without co-branded advertising and additional Windows 8 elements.
Overall we designed a series of 18 banner ads, 16 magazine adverts and 8 large format posters for the campaign all of which are to be localised and rolled out worldwide. To the left are just a few.
